I forgot how fun it is to have a new school kid, I love seeing how our little preppy’s mind is discovering new things so quickly, she’s counting all different things and working things out like it’s five days until her birthday when she will turn five. She has pretty much mastered the three first words she chose to learn, so now I’m going to pull out three more. Seeing my kids grow and learn really makes my heart melt! This time last year, covid still hadn’t made our world turn upside down, how are you feeling about this year? Has life gone back to normal, or did covid change life as you knew it?

With so many things coming in soft plastic packaging, one super easy thing to do is bring them to your supermarket where they have red cycle bins. We now have three bins in our house, one for general rubbish, one for recycling and one for soft plastics!

If you caught our stories today, here is my little preppy working on her sight words and letter recognition. We used our alphabet flash cards to spell out the words found on our first reading and writing words, paired with @the_freckled_frog alphabet disks bought from @learning.seeds, it was a nice easy activity! She then practiced writing the words!
